Personal data we process

CentreBlock B.V. records data relating to visitors of your website, usually at the organisation level — but where, for example, a customer uses a login, this may also be at the individual level.

This data may be enriched using your back-end (for example a CRM) or using information from third parties (for example information about companies associated with an IP address) to produce meaningful reporting.

You retain oversight of, and direct access to, the information we record at all times. You have the ability to delete data yourself, 24/7. CentreBlock never shares your information, or that of your customers, with third parties without your explicit consent.

Special or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify a visitor's age. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent data being collected about children without parental consent.

If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us at contact@centreblock.net and we will delete this information.

How long we retain personal data

CentreBlock does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data was collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

CentreBlock only shares your personal data with third parties where this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation. With any company that processes your data on our behalf (for example our hosting provider) we conclude a data-processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. CentreBlock remains responsible for these processing activities.

We do not share customer data with advertising platforms or other third parties for marketing or profiling purposes.

Access, correction, or deletion of data

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent given for the data processing, to object to the processing of your personal data by CentreBlock B.V., and the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you to you, or to an organisation named by you, in a computer file.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer, or withdrawal of consent to contact@centreblock.net.

To ensure the request was made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone — the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, and within four weeks at the latest.

CentreBlock B.V. would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens): https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/nl/contact-met-de-autoriteit-persoonsgegevens/tip-ons

How we secure personal data

CentreBlock B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and applies appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured, or there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or contact@centreblock.net.
